Hello everybody, I have xp installed with the service pack 1 and yesterday
while listening to a song my audio was lost . It started progressively and
it lasted for about 5 minutes before becoming almost silent but I also must
say that my bass box is still working but if you listen to bass only you
know that it's all garbled garbage. Another thing I must mention is that I
run into a similar problem about a year ago and if I remember correctly I
was missing a driver but I ran windows update then and fixed it. I ran
windows update now but couldn't find anything really. I checked all the
wires and it's looking good. My speakers are Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 DTT
2200. I hope you can help me with some suggestions.

I have a friend who lost his audio when he did a WIndows update. It
changes his audio driver. If you've done an update recently from the
drivers setion, check to be sure it is the right driver.

Also check in services and see if Windows Audio is enabled.
