Setting default login status

dear all, search through the newsgroup but amazed that I couldn't find
this. My question - Can MSN Messenger login to a default status such
as "appear offline" or "away"? other IM like Y! or ICQ can do it,
Trillian can manage it, but is it possible to do it natively or with
plug in for MSN Messenger? thanks

Greetings David,

Unfortunately no, all current versions of the Messenger clients written by Microsoft
automatically set you to Online and there isn't anyway natively to change this.
