Hello,
I discovered that about 60 system restore points eat 1.4 GB of my hard
drive.
How can I delete these manually to free disk space?
TIA,
John7

Hi John,
You can use the disk cleanup utility to remove all but the most recent one.
Another method is to open the settings of SR (Control Panel/System applet/SR
tab) and reduce the amount of space allotted to SR. This will remove older
restore points and prevent it from growing too large in the future.

Thx Rick,
I followed your advise and re-gained 0.5GB.
How can I delete System Restore Point selectively?
I prefer to keep major install RP's but delete anonymous RP's.
TIA,
John7

You can not delete restore points that way, you can not break the chain.

Sorry, it can't be done. As they contain sequential data, you can only
retain your last restore-point.
