Hi,
I foolishly went and tampered with the folders option in
file types.. all I wanted to accomplish was to change the
icons for all folders, yet now.. dispite the fact that
the default option is to open all folders within the same
window, the won't.. they wouldn't open at all until I
changed the option and created a new action.
My question is.. how do I change it back to the default
setting.. so it overrides my mistake and opens in the
same window? The active action at the moment is 'open'
and the program used is wondows explorer.
Thanks

Hi TigrisDrakos...
System Restore
Start - Run - %SystemRoot%\System32\restore\rstrui.exe
or Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools

Hi again TigrisDrakos...
just a thought here...go over to:
http://www.dougknox.com/
Click 'Site Search' (left side)...(type) association in the search
box...click Find. Choose number 1 in that list.
'Windows XP File Association Fixes'. Click on 'Folder
Association Fix'...Download/Save - Unzip then Run.
Reboot. Try that before a Restore.
