I would like to block a certain someone from messengering
me every time I am on line. I don't want to "never" speak
to the person, I just don't want them to see I'm on line
all the time and "away", or showing myself off line, will
NOT stay "ON" and goes back on when I am on line and will
not stay in the setting I set it, as "Showing me as Off
line" any suggestions, on how to do this w/o totally
blocking the person forever? Also, if I do Block..will
that person know, or see it as blocked? Wouldn't want to
hurt their feelings..any help would be welcome, thanks

Greetings Lynda,

Like Joel said, the block option is your only option, but you can turn it off and on whenever
you like.

And when you block them, they'll just show you as offline -- they won't actually know they've
been blocked. When you unblock them, you'll just show up as Online, as if you just signed
on.
