modem error

everytime i start my computer(win xp home)and try to
connect to internet it doesnt detect my modem.i have to
uninstall the modem and reinstall it everytime i start my

You're using external modem?

For WinXP, you've to turn on your modem first, BEFORE
the Windows is load.

This is due to WinXp try to detect your modem during the loading process.
