Hello, I've been using the MSN Messenger 6 preview for
talking online with a user of 4.6, but now that the person
who I was talking with upgraded to Msn 6.0 preview (for
win98 ) I'm an Xp pro user
myself..well after that we haven't been able to have a
voice conversation.
When the 98 user tries to start one with me it jams on the
connecting to person x's computer part.
When I (Xp user) try to start one with the (98 user)
it ends the conversation automatically when the other
person accepts my invite.
File transfers and webcam works fine.
I use Zone Alarm Pro ..other person uses no firewall. I'm
on cable modem..other is dialup. I haven't changed any
firewall settings and am puzzled to how
it won't work anymore.
Is this a bug in version 6 that will be fixed for the final
release ? Any information is welcome and help ..I doubt
anyone has a solution to get the voice thing working again
???
And yes I have tried disabling my firewall etc etc..
numerous things.
