My 3 new XP pro (sp1) P4 PCs running in SBS2k network keeps losing
connections to mapped drives (1-2 times a week each), but pinging the
servers/workstations continues to work and IE browsing also no problem.
Others 30 w2k and NT4 workstations on the same network switch do not
experience this problem.
Have updated NIC Realtek drivers to the latest but still no go. Changed
cabling/patches also did not help.
Only recourse is to reboot the PCs to get them going again.
