Ive just got a new pc it has xp...as im used to windows
98 its taking some getting used to....when i went into
programmes windows messenger was already there so when i
go to use it ...it automatically signs me in...ive
unchecked all the boxes as i want to be able to sign in
manually but nope still a no go anyone got any bright
ideas on how i can rectify this prob as anyone can now
access my messenger and hotmail..........

Greetings Angie,

To turn off the automatic login, click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then,
click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and then on the left side
of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the window that
opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'.
