my brother has a butt load of files he wants me to have...total size almost
4 gig...pics vids ...stuff..
he dosent have a burner. is there a way for me to log onto his pc from my
pc? networks are not connected...except through verizon dsl...lol
any help would be great

Yes, but you need something like PCAnywhere. Expensive.
Verizon upload is about 250kb/sec so for 4G, with 25%
packing, plan on, uh, 4GB*.25*8/ 250,000/60/60 = +- 9 hours

Cheaper to by him a burner. Be a sport, he's your brother.

Can you borrow a external burner, zip disk, large USB drives or memory cards
+ reader/writer?

Since you're both on DSL I'll assume both computers have network cards. Buy
a cheap crossover cable and create a temporary network. Here's how.>

lol, can you hear me now? You may be right. Something about the wording of
the OP's question gave me the impression they were in close proximity. If
not then a reeeeeally long crossover cable... :-)
