Restore Points disappear - even with several GB of disk space asigned for them....

Can anyone advise me as to why all my restore points completely
disappear every so often? I am not deleting them all - apart from
shutting system restore off on all drives I wouldn't know how to
delete them all anyway. The set restore point is at default time
interval in the registry and the disc settings seem OK and allow
maximum space for the files - several GB in total, so I don't know why
this happens. One day, when I really need to go back to an earlier
restore point and I find that there isn't one it could be pretty
inconvenient ..... Thanks,

I had about 5 restore points next boot up all gone and i mEAN ALL OF
EM.

Got to try some other system restore software.

I think (but could be wrong) that there is an option to remove restore
points in Disk Cleanup.

There is, remove all but the last restore point, but it's a one-off user
option, it doesn't stay permanently checked.

Here's one - erunt.zip (freeware), about 500K. Keeps a backup of
approx. 12M in a folder. Very easy to make the backup and to use it.

protected files using Nortues ues protected recycle bin ??? HMMM
