perhaps somebody would know how to fix greyed out standby button on start
menu in Win Xp
It used to appear there but since I have decided to upgrade to Win Xp pro.
it simply went grey and it cannot be activated. I have a relatively new pc
running on x86 Family 15 Model 1 Stepping 3GenuineIntel ~1693 MHz
with physical memory of 384 MB.
I've tried restoring Power management but it still didn't work.
thanks

Visit the support website of the manufacturer of your computer or video =
card.
Search for the latest Windows XP compatible video adapter drivers.
Download and install them in accordance with the installation =
instructions.
After installing the correct drivers, you should have the Standby =
button.
