View Full Version : Outlook Express and Win Messenger

How can I disable Windows Messenger from starting up (icon
in the sys tray) when opening Outlook Express? I have MSN
Msngr 6 installed, uninstalled from Add/Remove Prog -
Components Win Msng, but it still activates when opening
outlook. It does not sign in, but I have 2 icons in the
sys tray - one for MSN 6 and one for Win Msngr. Very
irritating.

Simply close Outlook Express, then download and run this .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/stopmessenger_oe.reg
