Floppy Disk Detection

Hi, all!

I'm having problems with my computer.

My floppy disk drive can read the contents of the disk, but cannot transfer
files.

I've tried changing the floppy disks from old to new, but still a dialog box
kept on showing up saying that I need to insert a disk in that drive even
there's one in it.

I'm using Windows XP Home Edition on a P4 processor.

Any advice on this?

Software failure?
Try this solution:

Goto Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> DeviceManager,
double-click on Floppy Disk Controllers,
click on Standard Floppy Disk Controller, and click Uninstall (from toolbar).

Then restart the computer.
