USER does not have Remote Assistance installed (or it is
disabled) and is not able to accept your invitation.
This is the error message i recieve when i send an
invitation for remote assistance to another machine. They
both are identical builds of WINXP and Windows Messenger

Is remote assistance enabled right click on my computer go to properties
and on the remote tab tick the
remote assistance

Greeting Lew,
On the PC that supposedly "doesn't have Remote Assistance installed", assuming the Windows
installation is in
C:\Windows (if it's not, you'll have to edit the drive letter in the file in Notepad before
running), just run this .reg file, reboot and it should work again:
