Just doing some housekeeping on my PC and was wondering if it is safe to
delete temporary files in documents\settings\temporary internet file
folders? Do they serve any function if they are over 1 month old? I am
using Windows XP home version.

I neglected to add files found under c:\documents and settings\ [name]
\local settings\temp
There are misc files that seem to have been added upon installation of
programs in the past year, and a whole whack of files under a cookies file
folder. I run Norton System Works Clean Sweep, and I was under the
impression that this program would automatically delete these kind of files.
May they be deleted also, or must certain directories under local
settings\temp be left alone?
