Hey everyone, can some one tell me please when i upgrade
my wifes pc with a new m/board and cpu, how will it affect
the licensing issue of WinXPro on that system? Do i ring
MS and explain to them what i've done? Not quite sure here.
Thanks, Harly

Harley;
A Repair Installation is normally required to properly detect the new
hardware:

Worst case will be a 5 minute toll free call to Microsoft as long as
Windows XP is retail.
If Windows XP is OEM, the above may not be possible.
