Windows XP ?
I knew how to do this on Windows 98, but have tried
finding my way in XP and have not been sucsesful these
programs keep starting and delaying so much the

First, check the program itself for an option to load at startup. Second,
click Start, Run and enter MSCONFIG and go to the Startup tab.
