I received a link through the hotmail account for MSN MESSENGER 6.0 --- I
also am reading numerous problems people are having with the program.
However, no where on any MSN website does it say MESSENGER has been updated,
nor is there a beta-copy. Is 6.0 legit?

Hi
People is experiencing problems with webcams, some webcams cannot don't work
properly with MSN 6.0
However, I have installed it and it really rocks.
It's great. You can see the face of the people you are talking with, have
new icons and even more, you can create your own icons!! and add them to you
collections. It's easy, just to use a cool software to make icons and then,
save the icons in JPG or BMP or PNG format and tell to MSN recognize a
keystroke combination with certain file containing an icon... so you can
program (smile1) and associate this with an special icon.
Possibilities are unlimited, special fonts, etc. etc.
Ah! I forget it, you can create animated icons. So now, the sad icon really
cries, yeah you can see the tears animated.
It worth while.
