Finally obtained a solid wireless connection to my router
on my new laptop. Life was good. Then Microsoft started
autoloading updates(who asked them to butt in?) and after
the install was complete, no more wireless connection. Do
I have to use the re-install disks and start over? Can
someone walk me back to a solid connection? Right now I
can't connect at all! How do I eliminate any future
interferance fom microsoft?

DCC,

Let's ask Joe if he needs any more of these updates?

Auto downloading of Window Updates can be changed to manual by going to
Control Panel / Performance and Maintenance / Administrative Tools /
Component Services / Services / Automatic Updates / change to manual.
