I have recently had a problem with my pc so I backed up
certain things all my incredimail for one reformatted my
HDD and installed XP pro instead of ME tried to reinstall
my incredimail but XP tells me I have a newer version
installed and will not let me reintall my backup I have
checked with incredimail site and I was already using
latest so how can I reinstall my backup which has all my
contacts for one thing on it

Contact Incredimail. This issue has nothing to do with Windows. Microsoft
cannot be responsible for third party applications.

You wont get any help from this group for any product that don't
belong to Bill Gates. Depends on how you mean when you say you backed
it up, you might be able to import the data you are after.
I usually do a export of my Settings and Contacts.
<File> <Data and Settings Transfer>
<File> <Import or Export>
You might be able to deactivate your copy of Incredimail then un
install it then try and locate an older version from a computer mag
and install it the try to get you backup to update.

Uninstall XP, use the backup to restore, then run the FastW, then upgrade again
to XP, restoring with the FastW
