Did some surfing and found a super helpful site!
Followed the instructions to at least get around the
error message that was most annoying. The mouse still
doesn't work quite right but I'll work on that. Check
out http://www.theeldergeek.com/windows_xp_faq.htm and
look for:
317277 - You Receive a "System Has Recovered from a
Serious Error" Message After Every Restart
This site may have some suggestions for your printer
problems, too. Be sure to check your cable
connections! Good luck.
