Go to Motlrola Home Page and
check if it is compatible with WinXP, if Ok, then get the Driver for
XindowsXP.
If you could not get Drivers, then I would buy new Modem instead.

(Actually I do not know what Mtorola SM56 is.)

I have an SM56 modem in my PC now, running XP Pro, works fine.
I've got the drivers if you want them, email me, remove the NOSPAM to do so.
