Are you able to hear your brother when either of you
initiates the voice chat? Does the chat session ends
automatically after a few seconds?
Yes and both or No and Yes - It may be a firewall or NAT
issue. Make sure your brother does not have a firewall
enabled or check with the ISP to see if they employ NAT
on their network. If he has a firewall, try configuring
the firewall to allow the ports required for MSN (there
somewhere on MS's website).
Yes and No - Get your brother to run the Audio Tuning
Wizard and confirm that the speakers re working.
Maybe a good idea to also re-unstall MSN 6 and re-install
it with the lastest (final) version. This may help.
Also try running Windows Update to apply all recent
updates/patches.
I hope this helps!
