I recently had Windows XP Home reinstalled on a cleaned
up hard drive, and do not seem to have Java installed. I
understood that it was a part of XP..... what do I need
to do in install it? Thanks............A

Hi

Install this MS Java VM build 3805:
ftp://ftp.visualware.com/pub/java/msjavx86.exe

Then go to Windows Update and install version 3810 (some security updates).
