Why is the Corsair the biggest waste of money?

you could have anti-virus scanning which would slow disk
read/writes. There could be other tasks which effect disk
performance.

Patrick,

Its about twice as expensive as generic DDR3200 (Crucial) and from all the
tests I've been able to do, is no quicker.

I could of had 1GB of memory instead of 512MB for the same price :-( .

But then perhaps its the nforce2 chipset.....
