Ok, heres the problem. I am starting with a blank HD,
put XP Pro in, it comes up, I push enter for new install,
press F8 for agree to terms, then it sends me to a setup
page that sayw the CD is not a valid windows CD, insert
one of the following (NT3.51, NT4.0, Win2000...etc.) Why
does it think that I am just upgrading when it is brand
new?

Greetings --
That prompt indicates that you are using an Upgrade CD to perform
the installation. Simply briefly insert the CD of the qualifying OS
that you own, and then continue with the installation.
