windows messenger 4.7.2007 Help

I just want my hotmail account to activate when either I
r-click on the green guy (my e-mail inbox)or hit e-mail
on IM.
But I keep getting to goto to "add-ins website"
Which is a different site then I remember.It a search
engine where I have to put in the above.Then I end up
with everything but from ms.
Can anyone help please,I running xp pro.
