Outlook does not include a news reader, you will have to use OE or another
news reader program for reading newsgroups.

You *can* use Outlook Express, but you certainly don't have to.
You can use whatever newsreader you prefer.

You *can* use Outlook Express, but you certainly don't have to.
You can use whatever newsreader you prefer.

You need both programs, Outlook will open Outlook Express
directly to the newsreader when you click the View/Go
To---News.

You can access the OE newsreader directly from Outlook,
Views menu, GO TO, news...open OE at the news account.
