At the office I do computer work for, we use IM on server
for sending messages within the office. We do not allow
using 'internet' based messenger program for security
reasons. For some time now, IM works for awhile and then
it doesn't work. Right now, IM is not working at all
with any of the workstations. I have stopped and
restarted the service, but that has done nothing. It
keeps rejecting the login process from the workstations.
We did have a pro come in the other day to install Norton
Corporate 8 AV on the server and had it pushed out to all
the workstations...could this be a problem?
Permissions have not been changed, the workstations which
run XP Pro have not changed in quite some time.
Any advice or clues would be greatly appreciated!
