word pad /text box & tables

I recently purchased a new computer which came with
windows XP. I can't seem to find out how to insert a text
box or create a table i.e rows&collums.I would appreciate
any knowledge of " How To ". Thanks, lpg

Wordpad doesn't support such features. Need to use a word processor such =
as Word or Wordperfect.
