Hi Folks !

I'm confident someone out there can help me. I've searched "Help and
Support" and "Microsoft Knowledgebase Articles" to no avail. I ran "search"
including "Hidden Files and Folders" and deleted all Wild Tangent files and
folders, or so I thought.

I'm trying to remove the "Wild Tangent Control Panel" icon from the Windows
XP Home Edition Control Panel. I cannot find it in Windows Explorer or
anywhere else.

TIA,
Pungconk

Look in your Windows\ System32\ folder and it will have a cpl file
extension. Rename it or delete.

BMcA,

Thanks so much, worked great !!! Now I know what to do if I ever get stuck
w/another Control Panel icon I can't seem to get rid of.

Cheers,
Pungconk

Also, if you download TweakUI, you can disable a control panel icon from
displaying without deleting the applet itself.
