How do I retrieve a sent email from outlook express
before other person reads it?

You can't. Once it is sent it is sent. Kind of like leaving a message on
some one's answering machine.

there are some third-party utilities that claim to retrieve from YAHOO! or
hotmail but they might not work. AOL mail can be retrieved if sent to other
aol accounts from an aol account (never thouhgt i would say aol so much!)

Yep. At least e-mail gives you time to re-read and make a decision before
you hit send. Voice mail is very unforgiving.
