"a runtime error has occurred do you wish to debug line 17 error
expected ')'"
Does anyone know why this happens. I did a google search and came up
with the suggestion to uninstall MS Office.
Is it a Microsoft problem or is it that web pages are not written correctly.
I also found a similar error mentioned at
http://www.axeuk.com/ubb/Forum4/HTML/000060.html
The error occurs for me @ this address http://fly.to/mdy
Thanks for any help

That is a javascript error that would be generated by a poorly written web page. Unfortunately poorly written web pages are not that uncommon. I would turn of java script debugging and error notification. In IE select Tools, Internet Options and go to t
he Advanced tab. Under Browsing check "Disable script debugging" and remove the check from "Display a notification about every script error."
