Stop Messenger 4.7

Hi there! When i start Windows or when i open Outlook Express, Messenger
appears in the systray. How can i stop that? Thank you.

In Outlook Express go to Tools > Options and uncheck "Automatically log onto
Windows Messenger"

I did that, but Messenger still appears. Thanks.
