I need to block Windows Messenger in the company that I work for.
Unfortunately, we've got a bunch of people that require local admin rights
and they are the ones that we want to stop using Messenger.
They do not have access to the corporate firewall ruleset though.
Can I block Messenger access using a firewall ruleset?

Greetings Edward,
If you can block outgoing connections to messenger.hotmail.com, messenger.msn.com, and
*.msgr.hotmail.com (where * could be anything) should prevent users from using Messenger.
