My computer is showing me for drives which don't exist.
At least in the manner stated. How do I get the OS to
get rid of the phantom disks? XP Pro/Dell 8250 Thanks

Try to delete the entries in the Device Manager. Restart Windows to
find out if this fixed the problem, the drives should not re-appear.
