How to access other IM services

Is there a way to set up other IM services (where I have
contacts) so they can communictae with me on Windows
messenger? I'm speciifcally interested in setting up AOL
instant messenging.

Greetings John,

To access other IM services, you'll need to use their own clients (or something like
Trillian -- http://www.trillian.cc). You can't use anything with Windows Messenger besides
the .NET Messenger network (or a local Exchange/SIP server).
