What was the name of the virus that was found and what is the name of
the file that is missing?

Some viruses create registry entries that load the virus files and
sometimes an antivirus program may not remove all of these entries
when it cleans the virus.

Good luck

Maybe system32.exe?

You don't want nor need this file, it's a virus

Hi,

He will need to reinstall the software under the new installation, there is
no workaround for that. He will not be able to load the old profiles on the
new installation.

By the way, the presence of system32.exe in that folder indicates that he
was indected with a virus.
