*.rm extension problem

Trying to play a download with the extension rm major problems tried to
change it to .wmv then download but it still won't play any ideas?
(Error=80004005)

RealMedia. Install a RealPlayer or RealOne from http://real.com
Windows Media Player will not play these files.
