Hi
I have WinXP and have just bought a game that is compatible with WinXP. I am
trying to install it but am getting the error message 'Not enough space to
install, you need at least 90mb.
Now I'm not really that good at computers but I know I haven't got much on
this one as it is new and I haven't installed much yet. It is 40gb and 256
mb ram. So why am I getting this message, have I really not got enough
space?
TIA

Run disk cleanup (programs->accessories->system tools->disk cleanup). Let it
delete all temporary files. Some times some applications will get upset if
the size of the temp directory exceeds a specific size. Once disk cleanup
has completely (usually just a couple of minutes), then retry the install.

Hi Walter
I tried what you suggested and the same thing happened. Anyway I thought I
would try WinXP's compatibility wizard, even though the game (which is Sonic
R by the way) is compatible with XP and this has sorted the problem out.
What made me try this was, upon closer inspection of the game, on the back
cover it says it is compatible with XP but on the disk if just says Windows
95/98.
Thanks for your help all
