Sharon,
Your post is a contradiction in terms. One doesn't upgrade from Office 2000 to
XP Pro. Office is an add-on software suite and XP is an Operating System.
Perhaps you could restate your problem correctly so that someone can offer
assistance. BTW, microsoft.public.office.misc is the proper forum for general
Office questions, if that's in fact the problem.

Just after installing XP for the first time I suddenly lost the Start menu
for no apparent reason!
I rebuilt it by Rt clicking taskbar etc... then choosing what I wanted to
appear there.
Although the Help & Support option appears there , when I select it nothing
happens , hourglass for a couple of seconds then nothing.
I have looked in the win/help folder and lots of help files are there.
What have I done wrong?
Also is there an equivilent to the win98 book - rk98book.chm for XP. In
other words a more detailed help source ?
Any help appreciated.

Jim
