No, Remote Desktop only runs as a "client" on Windows Me. Look at VNC in =
your situation, although I have never used it in a DCC environment nor =
have I heard of anyone else doing that.

Hi,

I hope that some of you will be able to help.
First of all I have a laptop with Win ME and I rarely ever use it.

My main computer is a Win XP Professional machine.

I would like to use 'remote desktop connection' to use my laptop from time
to time.
Because I so rarely use the laptop I would like to use a simple direct cable
connection, (because I have the cable already and I do not wish to spend any
money to create a network).

So, I can I use my 'remote desktop connection' to 'view' and control my
windows ME machine using direct cable connection.

Many thanks for your help.

Its pretty darn cheap nowadays to put a lan with a crossover together. That
laptop has a LAN port? Please stop CROSSPOSTING!
