How to do u activate auto run on a Windoes XP when I
insert a cd-rom it does'nt satrt and I hav to go to
windows explorer. it's anoying. can u activate auto run
again please?

can you just go to windows explorer and right click on your cdrom drive then
select properties. then just click the autoplay tab and go from there.

Hi Douglas,

Check your settings here:

Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services/Shell Hardware Detection/Return
this service to Automatic.

Enable CD AutoPlay for Pro or Home (Line 10)

Many users have solved this issue by removing the AutoPlay Handlers.
