I'm a new user with windows xp. Whenever I send a E-Mail
with an attachment, the receipient is unable to open. The
attachements are created using WordPerfect 10. Am I doing
something wrong. When I receive an E-Mail with an
attachment I have the same problem.

In Outlook Express:
Tools > Options > Security Tab > Uncheck "Do not allow attachments to be
saved."
The other person will have to do the same....

Attachments are a primary method of sending viruses. So a
security feature was added to the email client programs to
prevent attachments from being opened without your thinking
about it.
You can turn this feature off if you want to, I keep mine
turned on and turn it off when I know exactly what is in the
attachment and I have requested the attachment from a
trusted known source.
I still scan the files.

Greetings --
Does your recipient have WordPerfect, or another application that
can open WordPerfect files, installed?
