Internet Explorer Window does not close in windows XP

This is an issue with Internet Explorer 6.0 with service
pack 1 in Windows XP. When you try to close Internet
Explorer Window it will not open any which way you try to
close.

Please let know if any one have found an alternative or a
fix to this issue
