6 months using XP (home) and not one problem. Yesterday I
ok'd a microsoft "install updates" to my computer and
after booting up today I find myself locked out. Normally
I logged in w/o the computer ever asking for a password,
now it asks me for a password and won't boot to the
desktop without one.
Trying to click past the request or pressing <enter>
doesn't work...I'm locked out. Something in the MS
upgrade screwed me, and since I'm using a dealer copy,
microsft won't support it.

Any suggestions??

Or
Reboot to Safe Mode, select Administrator, leave password blank.
Then go to User Accounts in Control Panel.
Select the user and change the password.
