UPGRADING MY HARD DRIVE FAILED. I have previoulsy
upgraded hard drives in earlier versions of windows.
Problem: No USER Acounts avialable at boot up.
History: I put in new 40GB drive as slave to existing
20GB master. Both drives Western Digital. I used the WD
supplied tool to partition new drive. Removed old drive,
configured new drive as master and reboot. System appears
to boot normally; however, blue start screen displays
Windows XP logo but no user accounts.
Also pressing CONTROL-ALT DELETE does not offer the
SHUTDOWN options.
System returned to original config and runs fine.
