I had windows 98 installed on one harddrive then I added
another dive. I installed windows xp on the second drive
with an update cd. When my computer boots it boots off
the 98 drive then starts xp. I want to get rid of the
drive with 98 on it. How can I set the drive with xp on
it to be the boot drive?

It can be done, but it is not recommended. You will need to keep the
location of XP the same drive letter, otherwise all you programs will need
to be reinstalled. If you remove the hard drive with 98, you will need to
reinstall XP.
