windows and graphics driver

Hi...my computer crashed (i.e., froze, shut down and
restarted) and the system error log said that the system
had recovered from a serious error..."crash caused by an
interaction between windows (xp) and the graphics driver."
My graphics driver is NVIDIA....
What sort of "interaction" is causing my computer to shut
down...how can I fix it?

Did you recently upgrade your video driver? If so try rolling back the
driver. If that doesn't work try uninstalling the driver and using the
driver which came with windows xp.
